Baseball #3

This is a small oil painting measuring (6x4") and is painted on wood panel. I did this for my son Max's third birthday today. I'm sure he would have preferred a painting of McQueen from the Cars movie but I'm hoping a day will come when he appreciates this. Happy Birthday Maxy.

Happy birthday to your son! They grow up so fast. I remember when my kids each turned 3, like they were yesterdays. Now they are all teens.

Love the baseball!

Hi April,
Thanks. I'm working on a few figure pieces and a Monhegan Island landscape... Got some other things in mind and looking forward to getting back to the easel.
All the best,
Todd

Deb,
Thanks for the birthday wishes for Max. Teens?! It really flies by doesn't it?. I'm still trying to wrap my head around three years. Hope you are well

Well it's worth painting when you know you're going to sell them. I am still not selling anything here..perhaps I should try something else..

April,
paint what you love, otherwise you'll make yourself miserable. Sales are never gauranteed regardless of the subject matter.

Hi Todd!.... Thank "You" for dropping by and for leaving your encouraging comments!

Your "Venerable Spirit" is certainly a significant triumph at 30x40 inches... particularly in terms of the treatment of detail... and the obvious and usual planning that "You" carry out in each of your works!

"I" left "You" a(return)comment on my blog...

Good Painting my Friend!
