(Can it be called a Plein air if it's painted from the front seat of my car?...I don't really know....full disclosure: I don't really care either, hehee).
A small 5x7" oil study from the front seat of my hot rod...and by hot rod I mean mini van...parked in a lot off route 1 in Portsmouth, NH overlooking marshland.
I used a minimal palette here in my small painting kit: Underpainting White, Cad yellow medium, Quinacridone red, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt sienna...aaaand Viridian was on my palette but I don't really use it anymore.
This small little kit makes it possible to paint almost anywhere.
